Open Letter to Democrats: Truth Hurts

by Edwin R Williams

seek_truthI’m sure you are all sick of reading this stuff, but if I stop speaking out against socialism I will have no right to complain when it takes over our nation. I have to mention that so many of you have taken the lies of the socialist left as fact without doing a minute of independent research. In the 1970’s when nobody had convenient access to information, it was understandable how lies, rumors and

misconceptions were able to flourish. Today, however you have the power to research at your fingertips, but still you refuse. So, I have a few points to make before you continue on with your downloads of increasingly shameful pornography and meme’s of cats.

Things you know that just aren’t so…

1. Socialism doesn’t work on paper, in theory or in fact. It never has and it never will.

2. The Democrat and Republican Parties never “switched” agendas. It’s a boldfaced lie perpetuated by Democrats trying to explain their racist past. However, the Democratic Party did change direction in 1968 during the convention, the Republican Party never did and has the same basic platform since it was formed to abolish slavery and give women the right to vote.

3. The mentality of “By any means” of the left does not excuse them from lying. If you have to lie to further your agenda, you are still a liar and you don’t deserve the trust of the American people.

4. Just because you like to do drugs, doesn’t make you a Libertarian. Libertarians believe in the most freedom for the most people. No nanny laws, restrictions on firearms, oppressive taxation, prohibitions, unions or government regulations of business. The absolute opposite of Libertarianism is Socialism.

5. Unions are not the champions of the workers. Workers do and should have the right to bargain collectively, but international unions using thug tactics and supporting political parties are in opposition to freedom, not support of it. Businesses are not allowed to ban together to further their interests, labor should not be allowed either.

6. If you support President Obama without reading his book “Dreams of my Father”, you are a fool. Just like every other totalitarian Socialist of the past, Obama has clearly laid out what sort of sociopathic asshole he is. If you don’t read it, you are a “useful Idiot”.

7. Despite his promise of transparency, the Obama Whitehouse has been the most secretive and least transparent administration since Roosevelt. He has abused his power to punish political enemies and hide his past, a situation you would never tolerate from a Republican.

8. Roosevelt didn’t save us from the great depression, he caused it to perpetuate. It was war that caused America to recover from the failed policies and destructive socialism of the progressive Democrats of the 1930’s.

9. It’s not Bush’s fault. Stop allowing a pretentious liar to blame one person for a complicated mess that the former Democratic Congress and Senate had much more to do with than former President Bush. Remember, the Constitution doesn’t allow a President to spend money, that’s Congresses job.

10. Welfare, abortion and affirmative action have done more damage to the Black community than any other factors (including racism). Instead of assimilating and becoming one nation, we still have major divides between races that are the direct result of “special treatment” and the assumption that Blacks aren’t equal to Whites. These policies have destroyed Black families and have turned generations of Black men into self-centered narcissists.

Now you can look into what I have written here, or you can dismiss it as the ravings of a lunatic. The problem comes with the knowledge that I am not insane and that I am still willing to listen. Many of the people on the right have stopped listening, stopped debating and are simply preparing for the worst. No matter what path you take, you can’t say you weren’t told.

Democrat NBC hack David Gregory: GOP has no “Grand Wizard” to force Herman Cain to Quit

So NBC hack David Gregory claims that there’s no “Grand Wizard” in the Republican party to force Herman Cain to quit (among the various sexual harassment allegations.) The term “Grand Wizard” was used as a leadership title in the Democrat formed Ku Klux Klan. I guess David Gregory is quite familiar with them. Check out the following video from Newsbusters.

Reid signals government jobs must take priority over private-sector jobs.

By Pete Kasperowicz – 10/19/11 10:16 AM ET

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Wednesday indicated Congress needs to worry about government jobs more than private-sector jobs, and that this is why Senate Democrats are pushing a bill aimed at shoring up teachers and first-responders.

“It’s very clear that private-sector jobs have been doing just fine; it’s the public-sector jobs where we’ve lost huge numbers, and that’s what this legislation is all about,” Reid said on the Senate floor.

Reid was responding to recent comments from Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), who accused Democrats of purposefully pursuing higher taxes as part of the teacher/first-responder bill, S. 1723, so that Republicans would oppose it. McConnell said the bill was meant to fail in order to give Democrats an issue to run on in the 2012 election, but Reid said the Republicans are simply trying to defeat President Obama any way they can.

The legislation Reid is defending is part of Obama’s jobs package. Vice President Biden was in Pennsylvania, an important election state, on Tuesday to push for the administration’s plan on increasing the number of teachers.

The Weekend Interview with Mortimer Zuckerman: The Exasperation of the Democratic Billionaire

Real-estate and newspaper mogul Mortimer Zuckerman voted for Obama but began seeing trouble as soon as the stimulus went into the pockets of municipal unions.

By JAMES FREEMAN

New York

‘It’s as if he doesn’t like people,” says real-estate mogul and New York Daily News owner Mortimer Zuckerman of the president of the United States. Barack Obama doesn’t seem to care for individuals, elaborates Mr. Zuckerman, though the president enjoys addressing millions of them on television.

Obama Jobs Council Stacked With Democratic Donors

The group of private-sector business leaders advising President Obama on how to create jobs and grow the economy is full of deep-pocket Democratic donors and high-profile financiers of Obama’s re-election campaign, a review of Federal Election Commission data shows.

At least 10 members of the Obama-appointed Council on Jobs and Competitiveness gave the legal maximum contribution — $4,600 — to help get Obama elected in 2008, and they continue to write checks for the president in 2012.  Several also serve as Obama campaign bundlers, top fundraisers who collect millions of dollars from their networks of well-to-do colleagues and friends to aid his re-election bid.

The bundlers — Mark Gallogy, co-founder of investment firm Centerbridge Partners, Penny Prtizker, president and CEO of Pritzker Realty Group, and Robert Wolf, chairman of UBS Americas — have raised as much as $2.7 million for Obama in 2008 and 2012 combined, according to estimates provided by the Obama campaign.

Pritzker served as the Obama presidential campaign’s national finance chairwoman in 2008 and co-chair of the Obama inaugural committee in 2009.  Wolf is an occasional Obama golf partner and most recently played golf with the president during his vacation on Martha’s Vineyard.

Other members of the council who have personally padded Obama’s election coffers include Xerox Corporation CEO Ursula Burns, TIAA-CREF CEO Roger Ferguson, MIT/Harvard Broad Institute director Eric Lander, Citigroup chairman Richard Parsons, Hooven-Dayton Corp. CEO Christopher Che, UC Berkeley professor Laura D’Andrea Tyson, attorney and Amazon.com/Google board member John Doerr, and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg.

Sandberg hosted an exclusive, star-studded fundraiser for the Obama Victory Fund at her Palo Alto, Calif., home  Sept. 25 that netted at least $2.5 million for the 2012 campaign. The money is split between the Obama Campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

The companies and organizations represented on the council have also been prolific donors to Democrats and Obama through their political action committees, or PACs.

UC Berkeley employees contributed $1.6 million combined to Obama in 2008, more than from any other organization, according to data compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics.  UBS, Citigroup and GE, whose chairman and CEO Jeffrey Immelt leads Obama’s jobs council, were the source of more than $1.7 million combined.

Comcast Corp., headed by CEO Brian Roberts who sits on the council, is the top corporate source of campaign cash for Obama’s 2012 bid.

Two high-profile unions — the United Food and Commercial Workers Union and AFL-CIO — also played a key role in helping to elect Democrats and Obama in 2008, spending more than $900,000 on political communications and advertisements, according to CRP.  The leaders of both groups, Joseph Hansen and Richard Trumka, also sit on Obama’s council.
